The Question Master?
Hi, my name is Rupert Bean, and I'm an experienced quiz setter and host, having appeared on numerous TV gameshows in my time, in addition to my 7 years running a pub quiz in Battersea during the 1990s.
I started my gameshow career back in 1992, when I competed on “The $64,000 Question”, with the legend Bob Monkhouse.
My love of all things quizzical began then (along with the quiz machines you find in pubs…), and since then I have appeared on numerous game and quiz shows, including "Big Break", "Chain Letters", "The People Versus", "Brainteaser", "The Chase" and "Tipping Point", and now I love nothing more than running quiz events (both in person or online) for whoever wants to show off their knowledge of all things trivial.
This is what sets me apart from the crowd of other quiz companies - having been a contestant on all those TV shows, I know exactly what it's like, and want others to have a similar experience; so my quizzes all have that special "gameshow" feel!

Everything You Need For A Great Quiz Night In (or Out!)
I am available to run quiz events (in person or on Zoom) any evening of the week, from 6pm, and even earlier at weekends, if requested.
And of course, if it's online, teams can be located anywhere in the country (or even world!).
Each of my quizzes is bespoke to the audience – be it for friends, work colleagues, clients…whoever needs testing!
I have a generally set format, but can easily change and adapt certain rounds to suit any particular quiz, and audience – all negotiable.
The usual format is 3 rounds on specific categories (where each team can play their Joker for double points), a fourth “special round”
(you’ll have to wait and see!), a picture round on screen, and then a sixth and final round – “the round where anything can change!”
Yes, I even have a catchphrase...(something else I learnt from my years in the gameshow world).
Plus I pepper each quiz with the odd spot questions as well, to keep things interesting and everyone on their toes.
I am based in South West London, so ideally any events where my physical presence is required would need to be in the London/SE England area.
